I just wrote a blog post on "Yammer reduces Email Overload? I don't think so." http://poprl.com/K1a

I'm very interested to see if you ever reach full employee take up/use. I'd like to know if you ever do get to the point where email blasts stop and are replaced by Yammer.

Since it's the Yammer user who controls what Yammer messages he sees and when, I doubt people will ever be comfortable turning off emails and only sending by Yammer. Even if the entire company is following a tag or person, you have no way of knowing if they are actually reading every Yammer or not. With Email, you're pretty sure they at least scan the headline.

Good luck!
